IoTea was founded by a team bridging the gap between heavy industry and software engineering. We kept seeing the exact same problem: intelligence trapped inside industrial equipment, operators who couldn't see it from a distance, and AI tools that weren't built to meet the hardware where it lives.
How it started
We custom-build. On purpose.
Industrial AI is full of generic platforms promising to fit every environment. Most don’t. The hardware in a solar substation in Texas doesn’t look like the boiler panel in a mechanical room in Toronto — and treating them as the same is why so many monitoring projects stall at 60% done.
We took the other path. Every IoTea pilot is custom-integrated with the specific equipment in your panels. Same analytics engine. Same assistant. Same portfolio view. Different wiring, different logic, different dashboards — because that’s what your equipment actually needs.
How we work
Operator-first design
AI should give control back to the operator — not take it from them. Every interface is designed for clarity under pressure.
We integrate. We don’t replace.
Your existing systems work. Our job is to make them legible to the people watching from a distance — not to obsolete them.
We say what it is.
If we can’t do something, we tell you before you ask. If a prediction isn’t confident, the UI says so. No black boxes, no marketing adjectives.
